The second cycle of studies offers specialised training in Materials Engineering and confers on the student the degree of Master in Materials Engineering, which is deemed necessary for the profession of Materials Engineer, according to the levels of qualification required by the Order of Engineers. The Master Programme in Materials Engineering aims not just at the traditional areas of Engineering but also at the new emerging areas, such as functional materials, micro and nanotechnologies and Biomaterials.
This MSc in Engineering course builds on previous study and offers you an opportunity to research an engineering topic in depth. Our MSc in Engineering is accredited for Chartered Engineer status by the Institution of Engineering Designers (IED) and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE). A pathway through our MSc is also accredited by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) and the Institution and Engineering and Technology (IET).
Many companies, especially small- to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), are looking for engineering graduates who can manage and utilise finite resources efficiently in order to give them a competitive edge. If you would like to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, manage and utilise these resources, this course is ideal.
The area-based approach to urban transitions involves careful study and consideration of local circumstances, predispositions and capacities for adaptation to local and global challenges in relation to sustainable urban development.
This master’s degree program provides the skills needed to manage the design and construction process of a sailboat or a motoryacht.
This is an Integrated Graduate Development Scheme (IGDS), which is delivered on a continuing professional development (CPD) basis. It consists of a suite of sixteen modules within the framework of an MSc degree. It is offered through the Partnership in Automation and Control Training (PACT), which comprises the University and a consortium of companies in the chemicals and process industry sector.
The design, operation and management of manufacturing within a total quality system requires engineers with multi-disciplinary skills and the ability to integrate design and manufacture with market need for profit.
École des Ponts ParisTech and the University of Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée offer this 2nd year Master’s programme (M2) in Mechanics of materials and structures.
The Masters Programme in Engineering Materials Science is characterised by a cross- functional view on development of new materials and processes, as well as on todays materials, processes and applications.
Materials science and engineering belongs to a fascinating high-tech field and is of key importance for a sustainable future. Traditional and novel materials are cornerstones in industry and constitute platforms for new technology such as telecommunication and bioimplants.
The Master s programme in Materials Science is a flexible and interdisciplinary programme for postgraduate students with a strong interest in learning about how important properties of materials depend upon the materials structure and constituents.
