Advanced Materials Science – (M.Sc.)

The interdisciplinary program ‘Advanced Materials Science’ offers to excellent students with degrees in chemistry, physics, or materials sciences a multi-faceted training in the topical field of advanced materials, covering the range from nanoparticles to macroscopic matter. The program features small classes, intensive tutoring, project work, presentations by renowned international guest speakers, a spring school, and extensive practical training at leading industrial R&D units and production sites. The Master program is enriched by training in complementary key qualifications and completed with a Master’s Thesis. The complete program including the Master’s Thesis will take four semesters (two years).

Due to a strict limitation of the number of participating students, it is assured that the selected students are provided with the best possible education in the field of materials and nanotechnology.
