IE’s campus is situated in the heart of Madrid, placing all that the city has to offer right on its doorstep. Madrid has an immensely rich cultural heritage like no other in the world. The city boasts a host of museums, parks and gardens, palaces, modern and historic architecture, as well as providing an invaluable opportunity to learn one of the world’s principal business languages - Spanish. IE Business School is situated in Madrid's financial district. The IE campus currently occupies a total surface area of some 23,700m2 (including garage space). This includes 43 lecture halls with an average capacity of 50 students each, 5 computer rooms, 73 breakout rooms (with an average capacity of 10 students per room), a main auditorium ("Aula Magna"), and the IE library. The lecture halls and breakout rooms are not all centralized in one building. They are mostly spread across different parts of Calle Maria de Molina (between metro stations Gregorio Marañón and Avenida de America). The main building lies at the junction of Calle Serrano and Calle Maria de Molina.
IE is accredited by the three leading accreditation entities for business education: AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA.
