The College at Leuphana University of Lüneburg is home to all bachelor’s students. It is an innovative study model that is unique in the German academic landscape. Nowadays studying for success means more than merely acquiring specialist knowledge. All undergraduate students at the College of Leuphana University choose two fields of study and complement them by interdisciplinary and methodological issues, praxis projects and foreign language skills. Whether it is engineering sciences, environmental sciences, cultural sciences, business administration, business information systems, economics, business psychology, political scienceor law: Depending on your chosen major, you will earn the matching internationally recognized degree of Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.), Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.), or Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.).

The study model. Simply different.

As early as during the kick-off week, students start elaborating on their first interdisciplinary project and work together as a team to develop solutions to issues of social relevance. In the first semester, also called the Leuphana Semester, all students look at philosophical, ethical or methodological challenges to scholarly thinking and working from an interdisciplinary point of view. In the second semester, you can complement your major subject (major) by choosing a minor subject (minor), which is your second focus area of study. Taken together, the major and minor provide an interdisciplinary study profile.
