The University of Mannheim is one of the leading universities in Germany. The staff of Student Services is there to help you with the various aspects of academic administration. On these pages you find all kinds of information about administrative matters (like enrolment, de-enrolment, semester abroad etc.), exams, counselling and contact persons.
The Student Login is a portal who informs current students about their personal performance record, lists lectures and courses, and offers the possibility of registering for exams and so on. Integrated in the portal is the learning management system of the university, .LRN Plus. This is a platform for the organisation and mentoring of web-based learning and comprises communication tools like chat or e-mail, room for the presentation of texts, videos and graphics as well as facilities for lecturers to administrate its courses, consultations or lecture’s topics.
Excellent teaching and research is not the only factor for successful studies. The students union is responsible for financial aid, the on-campus canteen and cafeteria, housing in the student's halls of residence, the childrens' daycare centre, the social- and psychotherapeutic advice centre as well as the administration of the term ticket for public transport.
University media
A number of the university's media are created and produced by students. For those interested in a future career in the media sector, this is the ideal chance to gather experience and get involved in a highly motivated team.
Campus-Shop
The Campus Shop is situated in the east wing of the mannheim castle and offers brochures, books and postcards as well as t-shirts, cups and jumpers with the university's emblem. Furthermore the shop includes a small kiosk selling coffee, snacks and refreshments.
